Criminal Justice Academy Expansion

South Carolina’s Criminal Justice Academy has a big expansion plan coming up. The plan is supposedly worth an estimated $14.5 million!!

What this means is that new law enforcement recruits will be able to spend more time in training so they are even better prepared for the job while at the same time giving them the best possible atmosphere in which to train.

Some of the expansion includes a new gym, kitchen & dining hall, classrooms and even a dorm.

The academy is set to call the new expansion The Village which will no doubt be hugely popular with students wanting to embark on a criminal justice career.

At present the basic law enforcement training is 9 weeks but with the expansion, this will be increased to 12 weeks.
